Four New Posts Below This One

So, it has been awhile since I downloaded the pictures off of our camera. This morning in my free time here I downloaded our most recent pictures and created four new posts. For those of you who don't know I am back on modified bedrest due to yet another complication in this pregnancy. There is now a corner of the placenta that has pulled away. I am hoping that it will heal and that all will be well. My next Dr. appt. is next thursday the 30th so I will do another post then to keep everyone updated. The good news is that the baby is growing well and she is in the 85th percentile for her growth so none of this is affecting her. She is very active and constantly moving. I am afraid that when she gets here I am really going to have my hands full so I am trying to enjoy this chance to take it easy!

Gabe loves to try on sunglasses. But, he never wants to wear them when there is sun in his face. He puts them and and says, "So Cool!"

In Someone Elses Shoes

Gabe's favorite new thing is to try on other peoples shoes. I think that the top picture is my FAVORITE! We were at Aunt Chelsea's house. He put on her Crocs and stepped on a book so that he could go through all of the books in her entertainment center. He is in his diaper because Aunt Chelsea gave him a full glass of milk and he spilled all over himself. The other pictures are of him wearing my boots. The one in the middle is of him trying to walk in them. He went a little pigeon toed.

FUN AT THE PUNKIN PATCH!

A couple of weeks ago a group of people from our ward went to Linder Farms. I took Gabe and we had so much fun. He got to go on his first hayride! They also had a maze made out of hay bales. He got a chance to go to the pumpkin patch and pick out his very own pumpkin! It was very cold and windy but we had a blast. The first picture was supposed to be him holding his pumpkin but he ended up throwing it instead. He told me it was "heby"(heavy). The hayride took us around the pumpkin patch. Gabe got so excited and kept shouting, "punkins! Punkins!"

Just a few things I have been knitting in my spare time.

So many people have asked what I have been up to since I am on modified bedrest again and having to take it easy. Here are a few things that I have done. There are two pairs of booties and a hat for our little girl. I also found a super cute pattern for the Teddy Bear in a book that I have and decided that I would knit a bear for each of our kids. I am going to knit each one its own outfit too so that they will know which one is theirs. This one is for Gabe. I am working on knitting a sweater for it to wear. I also just made a huge online order for yarn that should be coming in the mail anyday now. So that should keep my busy for a little while at least.

Jon is NOT a Cystic Fibrosis Carrier!

We got Jon's test results today and he is not a carrier of CF! We are so happy! This means that our baby does not have CF! Woo Hoo!

What do I do?

So I haven't even known that I am having a girl for a full 24 hours and already I am freaking out! Last night I couldn't sleep so I made Jon go outside in the garage and get all of the boxes of baby items so I could sort through and get the stuff out that I would need for a girl. After soritng through all of the clothes I discovered that my little girl is going to look a lot like a little boy! Everything is BLUE! Jon is convinced that we can stick a bow in her hair and everyone will know she is a girl regardless of what she is wearing. I also discovered that I have waaaay too many boy clothes! What was a thinking? As I sat and pondered all of this I repeatedly beat myself up for giving away all of the cute girl clothes that I had bought on clearance etc. Especially all of those baby tights that I got for $0.10 a piece!

I guess that since I had Gabe I just figured that I would have boys. I just thought that that was they way it is going to be. I dont think that I ever really thought of having girls after having a boy. I was talking with Jon and asked, "What do we do with a girl?" He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "All she is going to do is eat, sleep, cry, and poop for the first few months you will figure it out." I continued to worry about what she will wear. Jon reminded me that we still have 5 months to figure that all out. 5 months doesn't seem like very long.

The other problem is the room situation. We have 2 rooms upstairs. One is Gabe's and the other is currently a guest room. Do I paint the guest room pink and turn it into a little girl room? Or do I leave it a guest room and keep the baby in our room until she is sleeping throught the night and have them share a room? Does anyone have any suggestions?

(I am sorry that my last three posts have been all writing and no pictures. I hate it when people do that, now I am a guilty party.)
