Magic Kingdom DAY 5
We paid extra to stay until midnight for Mickey's NOT SO SCARY Halloween party. IT was much less crowded during the parade. And it also meant that we got to see the fireworks show. After being at the park from 9am to 11pm Jon and I both fell asleep fast that night and slept soundly. I actually fell asleep on the laptop while looking up info. for Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. Jon fell asleep while he was icing his back. We had SO MUCH FUN!
Magic Kingdom Day 5
It is titled the Magic Kingdom. There were times in the day when it was not so magical. I was really surprised at how busy it was. We still had an amazingly wonderful day there. But, from 11-2 it was CROWDED! We couldn't even find a table to sit at for lunch. My favorite ride was Space Mountain and Splash Mountain would definitely be my second choice. We had to get pictures of Woody and Jesse for the kids. We also got one with BUZZ!
Day 4
Thursday morning Jon took his CCIM Final. That night they had a pinning and took us all out for a delicious steak dinner. I am so proud of Jon. Did I tell you he scored a 98%?
DAY 2 and 3
While Jon was in class I spent some time shopping(at downtown disney and some outlets), visiting the Orlando Temple, and checking out all the cute little lizards.

Epcot DAY 1
After Animal Kingdom we headed over to Epcot. My favorite rides there were Soarin' and Mission: Space. The 360 movies were pretty cool too. We had dinner in Morocco and it was FABULOUS! SO good! I am still thinking about it. The laser and lights show was amazing. As we left the park that day I was so happy. Even if the vacation had ended there it would have been a perfect day.

Animal Kingdom DAY 1
Our first day in Orlando was spent at Animal Kingdom and Epcot. We got to the park right around 9am. All of the greenery was awesome. It was so much fun! We were able to hit everything at Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest was a blast, we rode it twice. The Safari was amazing and The Bug's Life 4D show was pretty great too. They also had the biggest Bats in the world there. Unfortunately we forgot to take a picture but they were pretty impressive with their 6 foot wingspan. The atmosphere at Animal Kingdom was my favorite. There is so much foliage that even when it is crowded it doesn't feel as jam packed as everywhere else.

A Little Bit About POOP!
I knew going into this whole motherhood thing that there would be poop involved.
But, can I just say that NO ONE EVER told me HOW MUCH poop is involved!
When they are newborns you have explosive poop that goes up their back and out the sides of their diapers.
Then you have the poop in the tub. Gabe was an expert at this and I cannot tell you how many times he pooped in the tub. At least once a month for a year or more.
Then, there are the runs that literally run all the way down their leg 3 times a day while they are on antibiotics.
Gabe got poop on the carpet more than once while potty training and trying to "HELP". He also go poop all over the couch once while running around in his diaper.
Where is this poop tangent coming from you might ask. Well let me explain. This morning Jon and I got the kids breakfast, turned on a show for them and went upstairs to take showers and get dressed.
When I came down the stairs immediately I smelled it.
"Okay Lydia lets lay down and change your pants."
As I lay her down I notice something that doesn't look right. Can you guess what it was?
Yes ladies and gentlemen poop. ALL OVER HER HANDS!
Right then I almost lost my dinner from the night before.
Yes, she had put her hands down her diaper and gotten poop all over her hands.
So, needless to say, I spent the next half hour checking the downstairs for poop. I cleaned it off numerous toys and the wii remotes.
All I have to say is thank goodness for CLOROX WIPES!

We're back!
It has been just about 24 hours since we got home from the airport. Let me tell you, our trip, was, AMAZING! Jon and I had so much fun! For those of you who don't know Jon and I went to Orlando together. It was the first time that we had left the kids and, our first real trip together as a couple. Jon had to go down to take a class and test. He started his CCIM stuff at least 2 years ago. He finished everything but the final which is offered only twice a year. This fall the final just so happened to be in Orlando. We spent a full week there and had an amazing time. AND, Jon scored a 98% on his test. Isn't he awesome? Way to GO BABE! I love him! I will post more details with pictures later.

Camping
The day after our Anniversary we picked up the kids and headed for the hills. We went and camped at Greyback Gulch near Idaho City. We had a wonderful time and Lydia actually slept all night. We didnt even have to have her sleep in the car like we did at the sanddunes. The kids both got good and dirty. I can't wait until next year when Lydia will be a little bit bigger! It was so much fun!
