5 Years Ago Today

 

 

 

 

5 years and 2 kids later here we are. We are planning on getting some family photos done soon so I will have to post those next to some of the wedding ones. I can't believe that it has been 5 years! At the same time it feels like we have been married FOREVER! I LOVE you JON! You are still the BEST!

an observation

Lydia never calls Gabe, Gabe.

She calls him brother or Gabriel.

I think it is funny, and really cute.

The first time that I heard her call him Gabriel was the other morning when we dropped him off at preschool.

I told him Goodbye and she said "bye bye Gabriel!" SO CUTE!

Bruneau Sand Dunes

Last weekend we took a little trip to the Sand dunes. I had never been. We had such a good time! The kids loved playing on the dunes and camping. The night before we stayed there was a microburst that came through the campsite and knocked a few trees over. Gabe had a lot of fun playing on them. We were glad that none of them were on our campsite. Gabe and Jon went to the observatory and got to see Jupiter and a few of its moons as well as a nebula and a few other fun things. Gabe can't wait to go back!

Our Butterflies

 

 

 

Awhile back I ordered a Butterfly pavillion on Amazon.com. It comes with a certificate for caterpillars. Our caterpillars came in the mail and we got to watch them transform into beautiful butterflies. When they were done with their transformation we let them go in our backyard. I haven't seen them since. It was a lot of fun to see the whole process.

Boise Hawks Baseball

 

 

 

 

So far this season we have been to 4 games. Unfortunately we have lost all 4. But the kids love them. The first picture is of Lydia in the Bounce house. It is the kids favorite part of the baseball game. about a month ago Spencer was in town for the weekend so we went to a game with all of my family and Jon's family. Gabe loves his cousins! During the 7th inning stretch all of the kids get to go on the field and sing take me out to the ball game. that is what the blurry picture of Gabe is. Every Friday night this year they have done Fireworks. It has been a fun season even though we have lost.
