Car For Sale
With a second child, Jon and I realized that my Matrix was getting too small for our family. So, in December when we found a good deal on a Odyssey we bought it. Unfortunately we haven't been able to sell my Matrix yet. So if anyone is looking for a car or knows someone who would be interested please let us know. It is a 2003 and has 66,000 miles on it. I have LOVED this car so much and would highly recommend it to anyone. It gets great gas mileage. We could also sell our Camry. It is a 2007 with 14,500 miles on it.

I can finally rent a car.
So, today I turn the big 25. I am old enough to rent a car. My next birthday milestone will not take place until I can get a senior citizen discount. At least that is how I used to look at things when I was younger. 16 drive, 18 adult, 21 official adult, 25 officially official adult because you can rent a car.
I have to say that so far this birthday, has been the most uneventful, as far as birthdays go.
I woke up at 3 am to feed Lydia.
I woke up again at 6 or 6:30 to feed Lydia.
I got up at 8 when my sister called and woke me up to wish me Happy Birthday.
I fed Gabe breakfast.
I ate breakfast.
I took a shower.
I fed Lydia.
We played Wii.
Gabe had a melt down because it was time to turn off the Wii.
Gabe and I hung out.
Jon came home for lunch.
I tried to get Gabe to take a nap.
Lydia woke up and wanted to eat.
We watched Monster's Inc.
I tried to get Gabe to take a nap again.
I fed Lydia.
I got everything ready to take the kids over to their cousins. (can you believe that I have kids?! not just one kid, but kids, that is plural, meaning more than one!)
Tonight my wonderful husband is taking me out to dinner. I am hoping that the night will end with me in a nice hot bubble bath! Here is to 25 great years of life!

Dr. Visit for Gabe and Lydia
Today we went to the Pediatrician for Lydia's Newborn checkup and Gabe's 2 year check up. They are both very healthy! Gabe is in the 90th percentile for both weight and height. He is 36 inches tall and 33 pounds. Lydia is getting bigger. She was 6lbs. 4 oz. and 19 inches long. When we brought her home on Wed. She was 5lbs. 12 oz. I was worried that she might not be getting enough to eat. Obviously since she has gained 8 oz. in 2 days, there is no problem there! I am such a happy mommy! Gabe even got a Hepatitis A vaccine and hardly cried at all. I was so proud of him. When the Dr. took Gabe's diaper off Gabe was so cute. He said, " I not poopy." and looked at the Pediatrician like what are you doing? And while Lydia was getting looked over Gabe told her, " it's ok baby sister. it's ok." He is such a good big brother. He loves to hold her and help out. Sometimes a little too much. I am not sure how many times I have had to tell him that he can't hold sister when mom is feeding her. I am a proud mommy. I am so happy to be home and so grateful for two happy healthy kids. We are so blessed!

SHE IS COMING HOME!!!
Our little Lydia is coming home! She will hopefully gain weight tonight and come home tomorrow! We are so excited and can't wait! She got the feeding tube taken out yesterday and she has been taking her whole feedings or more ever since. The top picture is of Lydia with the feeding tube in and the bottom one is her hand on mine. She is so tiny!
