Pregnancy Update!

It has been awhile since I posted anything about this pregnancy and I have had a lot of people asking how things are going. Well, we went to the Dr. yesterday. I haven't had any spotting at all for THREE WHOLE WEEKS!!! YIPEE!!! They did an ultrasound and there is no sign of the original clot. The placenta is also moving up and so it looks like I probably wont have problems with placenta previa either! Baby Lydia is looking good. We got to see her little face and she looks really cute. I am amazed at how fast she is growing. I have been getting ultrasounds every two weeks and every time we get to see her she looks so much bigger than the last time! The Dr. also said that he is 100% sure it is a girl. I do have to continue to take it easy but he told me that I can start easing back into my normal activities. I will be 25 weeks this Monday! Only 15 weeks to go! I will try to do a better job of keeping our blog updated with the lastest. My next appt. is on the 25th.

Our Little Stinker

Gabe was a skunk for Halloween. I took him to Other Mothers when they put out all of their costumes. When we put this one on him I couldnt resist buying it. It was actually one from Old Navy that I wanted to buy for him last year but didn't want to spend that much on. He looked sooo cute! We got together at Grandma and Grandpa's house to take pictures with the cousins. Kyle was a dog and Violet was Princess Aurora.

Trick or Treating Bag!

On Halloween I was thinking about what I would have Gabe us for Trick or Treating. I didnt have one of those little pumpkin buckets. We always used pillowcases. I thought that a pillowcase would be a little large for him to carry especially since we weren't planning on taking him to too many houses. I remembered that I had some fabirc that I bought for another project and never used so I decided to make him a bag. I think that it turned out really cute. I made it reversible so he can use which ever side he wants to. It took me about 2 hours from start to finish. I think that I could do it faster if I ever decide to make another one!

Pumpkin Carving

The day before Halloween we decided to carve our pumpkins. Unfortunately I only got a picture of one of them finished. I carved Gabe's pumpkin. I also helped Jon clean out his pumkin for carving. His was one that we grew in our garden. A lady that he works with gave us starters. When the pumkins started to grow they were yellow instead of green. We figured out that the pumpkins and yellow squash had been crossed so what we got was a big yellow pumpkin. I was harder to clean out but much easier to carve! Jon took the lovely picture of me!
