Big Boy Bed

So, since I am on bedrest and am not suppose to pick Gabe up we decided it would be a good time to transition him to a big boy bed. He had also been trying to climb out recently. It has been a HUGE success. We thought that we would have a week of putting him back in bed but he has always stayed in bed, with the exception of a few naptimes. It it awesome! He loves his new found independence!

Losing it!

So I have been stuck in bed off and on for about 2 and a half weeks now. I think I am about to lose my mind! I also think that this baby doesn't like me very much. Either that or my body really doesnt want to do this whole pregnancy thing again. So here is an update for those of you who don't know. On July 30th we had a little complication with this pregnancy. I was sure that I had miscarried but as you see from my first post the ultrasound pic. the baby was happy and fine. Well I have had some bleeding off and on since and so I am stuck RESTING and RELAXING. Sounds pretty good right? Maybe for a day! After almost two weeks I am ready to get back to living! You never really know how good you have it until you are stuck in bed! Not to mention the fact that I am still dealing with nausea at 12 weeks! What is up with that? I know there are women out there who have had it much worse than I have that is for sure. But, I am almost to my wits end!

Sunday July 27th was Gabe first time at church in nursery all by himself! I took this picture of him before church. His hair was a little crazy that morning.

So this is a picture of Gabe asleep on his Uncle David's lap. HE NEVER EVER sleeps on my lap. I guess David has the magic touch!

For Jon's Birthday we went down to the Farmer's Market. We had fun walking around. We ate crepes for lunch and Gabe had a good time playing in the fountain.
At the Scottish Festival there was a booth where they had sword fighting. These are my cousins kids fighting the "giant".

Payson, UT

In July we took a trip down to Payson, UT for a family reunion. While we were there we spent one day hikng, and one day at the Scottish festival. It was so fun to see family!

This summer we have become big fans of the Boise Hawks Baseball team. We have attended 2 games and they won both of them! Wendy's has a deal with the Hawks. When ever they win by and get a certain number of runs they give out free small frosties to everyone in attendance! We got free frosties at both games! Thanks Wendy's!

Over the 4th of July weekend we went Jackson Hole Wyoming and rafted with Jon's family. It was Gabe's first time camping and we took him to see his first Rodeo and fireworks show. He loved camping and the Rodeo. He wasn't sure about the fireworks but after a few minutes he really enjoyed them.

June

In June we got free tickets to go on a train ride on the Thunder Mountain Line. The train goes from Horseshoe Bend to Banks and back. We invited Meghan and Sterling to go with us. We had a lot of fun.

Baby #2

For those of you who dont know we are expecting! I am due March 2nd. This is a picture from our first ultrasound that was taken on July 30th at just over 9 weeks!
