Lost Wedding Ring

Monday night before I went to bed and realized that I hadnt seen my wedding ring in a few days. I was sure that I left it on my nightstand. It wasnt there. I thought that maybe a put it in a pants pocket or something and decided to look for it in the morning. After looking in every pair of pants, every apron, and every other place I could have left it, I panicked. I decided that it was gone forever. I was sure that Gabe had got a hold of it and put it somewhere impossible to find. (I even looked through the trash cans.) No luck. As Jon left for work I cried and cried.

As the day wore on I thought, maybe I can get another ring for our 5 year anniversary in a year and a half. I said many prayers. Then, I started the laundry. As I finished loading my first load of white into the washing machine, I looked in the laundry bag. There on top of our dirty clothes sat my BEAUTIFUL RING! I was so HAPPY. I will NEVER leave my ring on my nightstand again!

Pictures of Lydia

Here are a few more pictures of Lydia. She is growing fast. Her due date was last Monday. She has outgrown all of her Preemie clothes now and is starting to fill out the newborn clothes as well. The top picture is the most recent. It was taken last Friday.

Multiple posts below

There are multiple posts below this one and will be more tomorrow. I just downloaded all of our pictures, so, I will post as I find time over the next few days. EnJOY!

Binky Addict

A couple of weeks ago I was just relaxing watching some TV. Gabe found the Binky stash in one of our drawers. He was playing with them for a little while and then fell fast asleep on the floor. There is one in his mouth, one in his hand, and a couple on the floor around hime that aren't in the pictures. It was just so Gabe. He is an addict. I know that he is getting too old for them but I am not willing to go through the 2 weeks of torture it will take to get rid of them!

cute pics

I loved these pictures that I took. I put Lydia down for some tummy time. First Gabe and then Jon went over to admire her. It was such a precious moment.

Bringing Lydia home

I know that she has been home for over a month now, but, here are the pictures. the first two are of Gabe holding her for the first time. The bottom one is us getting ready to leave the NICU.

We finally sold our Matrix.

Well we finally sold our Matrix this last week. We had been trying to sell it since Christmas. It was a bitter sweet parting. I loved that car so much and would have kept if forever if I could have. I am loving our van though too. With 2 kids it is much more practical and functional. Gabe lovingly refers to the van as "the fun car". It has a DVD player in it. Kids love that. So do I, when I would like some quiet.
