Wahooz!

At the beginning of summer we made a summer sack full of things we wanted to do this summer as a family. One of the things on the list was go to Wahooz. We took the kids a couple of weeks ago. Jon and Gabe went on the Go-Karts. Lydia and I went on the Bumper boats. The kids had so much fun playing at the arcade.

Boise Zoo, Butterflies in Bloom

I took the kids to the Zoo a few weeks ago. They have a special exhibit called Butterflies in Bloom going on, I think, through September. They have a large outdoor room with butterflies flying around all over. I had a lot of butterflies land on me. Gabe really wanted one to land on him but I think that he was a little too busy. We all had a wonderful time.

We have spent many hot summer evenings at grandma and grandpa's house enjoying the pool. I think that these were taken on the 4th of July. We had a BBQ with all of the fam.

Picking Cherries in Emmett

Grandma Gwen went with us out ot Emmett to pick cherries. They sure were delicious!

Movies at The Park

We took the kids to movies in the park. They play movies on a jumbo inflatable screen every Friday all summer long. We all had a lot of fun. I got a little bit cold and the next day was pretty rough because the kids were up too late. I am hoping that next year we can try it again and it will be a little better.

Splash Park

Our new house is really close to a splash park that Gabe and Lydia love to frequent. Lydia doesn't really like getting the water on her face but she has fun following her big brother around.
