Shoshone Ice Caves

On our way down to Utah we stopped at the Shoshone Ice Caves. I had never been and Gabe who is obsessed with Volcanoes LOVED IT! The ice cave is a lava tube. I was so glad that we had the backpack for Lydia. It was a nice break from being in the car and helped make the rest of the trip bearable.

Happy 30th Jon

This past month Jon turned the big 3-0! We had cake and ice cream that night with some family and friends.

Wahooz!

At the beginning of summer we made a summer sack full of things we wanted to do this summer as a family. One of the things on the list was go to Wahooz. We took the kids a couple of weeks ago. Jon and Gabe went on the Go-Karts. Lydia and I went on the Bumper boats. The kids had so much fun playing at the arcade.

Boise Zoo, Butterflies in Bloom

I took the kids to the Zoo a few weeks ago. They have a special exhibit called Butterflies in Bloom going on, I think, through September. They have a large outdoor room with butterflies flying around all over. I had a lot of butterflies land on me. Gabe really wanted one to land on him but I think that he was a little too busy. We all had a wonderful time.

We have spent many hot summer evenings at grandma and grandpa's house enjoying the pool. I think that these were taken on the 4th of July. We had a BBQ with all of the fam.

Picking Cherries in Emmett

Grandma Gwen went with us out ot Emmett to pick cherries. They sure were delicious!
